Who runs the site
profilemap.app is run by Petro Gaida, a private individual; country: Ireland. Postal address: Co. Kerry, Ireland. The same person is the seller of the paid readings.
You can reach us at support@profilemap.app.
Buying the readings and how payment works
The tests and the free part of the profile (the scales, the figure, a short conclusion and the opening of the overview) are free. The paid part is four written readings of your profile (interview, work, relationships, under pressure). It costs €10.
You pay once, by card, on a payment page run by Stripe, our payment provider. One payment opens all four readings. It is not a subscription: there are no repeat charges. €10 is the full amount charged at checkout; no other fees or taxes are added to it on the payment page.
The site does not see or store your card details: you enter them on Stripe's page. Stripe also asks for your e-mail address there. We use it to confirm the payment, to unlock the readings and to e-mail them to you. How your data is handled is described in our privacy policy and in Stripe's privacy policy.
Access opens when Stripe confirms the payment to our server, usually within a few seconds. Coming back to the site from the payment page does not open anything by itself: the confirmation does. If you close the payment page or cancel, nothing is charged.
If you open the site in another browser or on another device, you can ask, on the profile page, for a link to be sent to the e-mail address you gave on the payment page. The link works for 24 hours and opens access in the browser where you follow it.
What the four readings are
The paid part (called “the breakdown” in these terms) is four written readings of your profile, each answering one question: how you come across in an interview, where you work well and where you burn out, what you give and look for in relationships, and what happens to you under pressure. They are written automatically by an AI model from the results of the tests taken on the site. All four are written right after the payment and sent in one e-mail to the address you gave on the payment page, with the reading you pick first at the top. If some are not ready when the e-mail goes out, it says which ones, and they will appear when you open your profile page.
Each reading is written once for each language and saved. If you later take other tests or retake these ones, readings that have already been written will not update by themselves.
Agreeing to these terms, immediate access and the right to withdraw
The payment page has a box that you must tick to agree to these terms, and you cannot pay without ticking it. The agreement is collected by Stripe on the payment page: the site has no checkbox of its own for it.
Under EU rules, a buyer normally has 14 days to withdraw from a distance purchase without giving a reason. But the breakdown is digital content, and access to it opens straight after payment. In that case the law lets you give up the right of withdrawal: the buyer must first expressly agree to immediate access and acknowledge that the right of withdrawal will be lost.
That is why the payment page shows this sentence next to the box: “I agree to immediate access to my breakdown and understand that I lose my right to withdraw from the purchase.” By ticking the box and paying you agree to these terms and to that sentence: you get access at once, and you lose the right to withdraw from the purchase within 14 days. If that does not suit you, do not tick the box, and nothing will be charged.
We keep the fact and time of your agreement together with the record of the payment.
This does not affect your rights if something is wrong with the breakdown itself. That is the next section.
If something doesn't work
If a reading was not written or will not open, or the e-mail with your readings did not arrive because of a fault on our side, write to support@profilemap.app. In that case you get your money back: we will refund the full amount by the same means you paid with, no later than 14 days after your message. The reading is always also on your profile page, so look there and in your spam folder first.
If you would rather we try to fix the problem first (write the reading again or resend the e-mail), say so in your message.
When a payment is refunded, or the payer disputes it with the bank, access to the readings ends. An e-mail with the readings that you have already received stays with you: it cannot be recalled.
This adds to, and does not replace, the rights you have by law if digital content does not match its description.
If something in the free part of the site does not work, write to the same address.
How to read the results
The tests are based on answers you give yourself, so a result shows how you see yourself at the moment you take the test. Scores describe tendencies, not facts about you. The breakdown is a general description built from those scores. It may not match how you feel, and that is normal.
We do not guarantee that the breakdown will be accurate or useful to you in particular.
What we expect from you
- You are at least 18 years old: the site is meant for people aged 18 and over.
- You use the breakdown for yourself: you do not resell it or pass it off as someone else's.
- You do not try to reach other people's data or interfere with the site's operation.
Liability
The site and the breakdown are provided “as is”. We do not guarantee that the site will run without interruptions or errors: maintenance and faults at our host or at other services we rely on are possible.
We are not responsible for decisions you make on the basis of the results and the breakdown.
All of this applies to the extent the law allows. These terms do not exclude or limit liability where the law does not permit it (for example, for fraud or for harm to life and health), and they do not take away your consumer rights.
Changes to these terms
If we change these terms, we will update the text and the date at the top of the page. Changes do not affect purchases made before them.
Governing law and courts
These terms are governed by the law of Ireland, and disputes are for the courts of Ireland. If you are a consumer in the EU, this does not take away the protection given by the mandatory rules of your own country's law, nor your right to go to court where you live.
Your data
What data we collect and how we handle it is described in the privacy policy.
